If you have an Enterprise X or below subscription, you will get a set of new license keys. The new license can be updated directly from the Artifactory UI or from the artifactory.lic/ artifactory.cluster.license file [$JFROG_HOME/artifactory/var/etc/artifactory].
For more information on how to apply for a license and License Bucket, check out the video explanation here.

If you are on an Enterprise+ subscription, you will receive a Licence Bucket. The License Bucket is a collection of licenses that can be applied/attached to different Artifactory nodes in the HA cluster or to the JPDs registered with Mission Control.

The License Bucket came with the expiry date.
Upon the expiration of the license bucket, the license bucket can be replaced with the new license Bucket. Go to Artifactory UI -> Administration -> License -> License Bucket -> Add new Bucket.

Frequently asked questions-

I have already added licenses in the Artifactory, however, the expired license banner persists.

[solution]- Upon adding the new license, you need to apply the license to the Artifactory nodes. Ensure that no Artifactory nodes [HA nodes or JPDs] are holding on to the old Artifactory License. After attaching the new License to the Artifactory node, refresh the UI and check if the license expired banner is gone.
