Users can set up daily / monthly usage notification when one of the defined limits is reached as explained in our document here.
Once the alert is created, users will receive an email notification when the limit is reached.
Monthly Threshold Exceeded
This email is to inform you that you have exceeded your set threshold for the following usage dimension on XXX Month XX Day, XXXX Year:
- Storage: Your current usage is XXX GB, exceeding the threshold of XXX GB.
We recommend reviewing your current usage patterns and consider adjusting your thresholds within the MyJFrog portal.
The usage from the alert uses the number that is the sum of peaks of each JPD.
Even if a user cleans up storage in JPD A, the alert will keep using whatever was the peak and keep sending notification for the rest of the month.
For example, if a user has an increased storage usage in JPD B, then the user will see an increase in the number in the alert email on top of the peak of JPD A.
From MyJFrog, the user can take a look at Usage Explorer -> Data storage -> Storage view -> “peak” to get an estimate of the peak.
Peak: Displays the highest storage usage during the selected time period, without considering any changes made, like deletions.
